Circle - Third and Final Single from In Light of a New Moon by Asaf Yuria

Circle is out now, the third and final single from In Light of a New Moon, the forthcoming album by Asaf Yuria, coming September 4, 2026 on JOJO RECORDS.

Written by George Cables and first recorded in 1979 in a quartet with flutist Joe Farrell, the tune returns here through its own composer. Yuria asked the pianist to revisit his own piece, and the quartet plays it fast and bright, as a sun-drenched bossa.
Recorded once again at the iconic Van Gelder Studio, with Asaf Yuria on tenor saxophone, George Cables on piano, Omer Avital on bass and Billy Hart on drums.
